Right now, the path the EU and NATO faces another set back. There’s been no functioning government, despite three elections in less in 16 months.
The latest one this week, produced a similar result to the last two, the party of the incumbent prime minister Albin Kurti got 43 per cent of the vote, a clear victory but not enough to govern without a coalition.
There’s no sitting President either, Vjosa Osmani served as President from 2021 to April this year, but couldnt get a second mandate, reportedly over a fall out with the prime minister.
