Russian forces strike targets in Ukraine’s Odesa, Mykolaiv ports
Russia said on Saturday its forces had struck fuel storage facilities in the Ukrainian port of Odesa and a tugboat used by the Ukrainian military in Mykolaiv. Russia and Ukraine have intensified attacks in recent weeks on Black Sea shipping routes, rattling global grain markets.

Russian forces carried out strikes on fuel storage tanks in the Ukrainian port of Odesa and hit a marine tugboat repurposed for use by the Ukrainian army in the port of Mykolaiv, Russia’s Interfax news agency reported Saturday, citing the Defence Ministry.

Russia and Ukraine have both stepped up attacks in recent weeks on shipping in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, driving wheat prices higher.
